About Me




Crystal Rose Munoz is a graduate from Azusa Pacific University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism.  Crystal was born and raised in the city of Glendora, California.

Since the age of seventeen, Crystal has been very active in pageantry for the Miss America Organization as a contestant, emcee and pageant coach.  She has held the titles of: Miss Azusa 2009; Miss National Orange 2010; Miss Yosemite Valley 2011 and Miss Greater Inland Empire 2012.  On November 19, 2012, she was crown Miss California Latina 2012-13, where she will go on to compete for Miss Latina US 2013 in August -18-25, in Cancun Mexico. 


Crystal has been an advocate for children struggling with child obesity and In 2011, she started her own non-profit organization called “The Crystal’s Kids Foundation Inc,” which is a mentoring program for children struggling with child obesity.  She hopes that through her organization and awareness she can help combat the child obesity epidemic.

Currently, Crystal Munoz is working as a paralegal and is a first year law student at Glendale University College of Law.  She is also one of the youngest bail Agents and bounty hunters in the state of California.  In addition, she also graduated from cosmetology school in 2008. Crystal has also interned for KABC7-TV Eyewitness news.

Pets: Pomeranian named “Chopin," Miniature horse named “Cinco,” Queensland heeler named "Gordo," and fifteen baby chickens unamed

Hobbies: Running, swimming, hiking, biking, poker, piano, dancing and spending time with family and friends

Career Ambition: to obtain a Juris Doctorate and work for a television news network as a legal correspondent
